Professionals have lowest engagement

Professional employees, such as lawyers, engineers and nurses, have the lowest engagement globally, with an engagement level of 54%, according to research from Aon Hewitt. The annual study which takes the views of seven million employees across more than 6,000 companies in 155 countries, found that engagement levels for professional employees in 2013 dropped by on per cent from the previous year. Executives and senior managers remained the most engaged employees with 75% engagement globally, demonstrating the largest increase in engagement over the last year with an increase of nine per cent.
