Ever applied for a job and not heard back? Maybe your CV is what is holding you back… The worst CV error is a spelling or grammatical mistake, according to a survey of 600 employees and senior executives conducted by research firm YouGov for GSM London, with 87% conceding that they find it annoying. Unsurprisingly, conciseness is treasured, with 46% finding lengthy CVs frustrating, while 26% were opposed to short CVs. 44% were put off by a CV that was too nformal or casual, while 29% were not keen on a CV that contained too much information. 74% would not consider CVs that were missing key information, which correlates with a report earlier in the year that discovered a third of CVs contained discrepancies. http://www.recruitmentgrapevine.com/article/2015-04-17-senior-executives-reveal-cv-annoyances?utm_source=eshot&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=RG%20-%2017/04/2015
