Have you taken time to evaluate your career strategy lately? By Renee Walrath I recently wrote about how great summer can be for job seekers to really step up their job search preparation. My main point was that hiring is likely to pick up in the fall for many companies, which can be an advantage to job seekers who have already taken the time to network, research, apply and possibly interview with potential employers over the summer. This is great news for job seekers, but what about those of us who are already employed and not actively searching for a new job? Summer also is a good time for those of us who are currently employed to evaluate their career thus far. Since the summer months are used for vacationing and personal time which can mean less stress in your daily life and your career, it can be a great time to evaluate your career management strategy. http://blog.timesunion.com/careers/evaluate-your-career-strategy/3175/
